Downtown’s next generation takes over this Thursday

This Thursday, some of Downtown Nampa’s youngest business owners are setting up shop.

July Third Thursday returns with Future Founders, a free, family-friendly street festival built around a Children’s Entrepreneurship Market. Young entrepreneurs will be behind their own booths, sharing the products and ideas they’ve worked hard to create.

Come meet them. Ask about their businesses. Buy something that catches your eye. For these kids, every conversation and every sale is a chance to learn what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

Future Founders may be the theme, but there’s plenty happening throughout the evening. You’ll find market vendors, activities for kids, food, and a live DJ as the streets fill up for one of our favorite summer traditions.

And don’t stop at the festival booths.

Grab dinner at a downtown restaurant. Pick up a drink from a local coffee shop or taproom. Browse a store you haven’t visited before. Downtown is full of businesses run by people who once stood where these young entrepreneurs are standing now: at the beginning, with an idea and the courage to try it.

That’s part of what makes this event special. The Children’s Market gives kids a place to imagine what they might build someday, surrounded by people who are already building something good downtown.

Bring the family, invite a friend, and come ready to explore. You might discover a new downtown favorite. You might meet a future business owner. And you’ll help show these kids that Nampa is a community that shows up for people willing to create something of their own.
