Revitalizing a downtown is no small task, but through the use of a unique economic development tool this seemingly lofty goal is broken down into four manageable categories based on the Main Street Four-Point Approach®: Design, Economic Vitality, Promotions, and Organization. These pillars help to support our mission. This approach is a comprehensive revitalization process designed to improve all aspects of our downtown, producing both intangible and tangible benefits.

Design Committee
Are you interested in architecture? Do you love to beautify the spaces you frequent? If the answer is yes, the Downtown Nampa Association would love to invite you to help us revitalize downtown Nampa.
Our design team supports the community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual elements of downtown while capitalizing on the unique assets that set the individual districts apart. The Design Committee plays a key role in shaping the physical environment of downtown Nampa into a place that is attractive to shoppers, investors, business owners, and visitors alike.
Economic Vitality Committee
Do you want to see more viable businesses call downtown Nampa their home? If you have a mind for business and want to help us create opportunities for business growth in downtown Nampa, the Downtown Nampa Association needs your talent!
Our economic vitality team works to implement capital incentives and create economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses. They endeavor to catalyze property development and create a supportive environment for the scores of entrepreneurs and business innovators that drive our local economy.
Promotion Committee
Are you outgoing, enjoy having loads of social media friends and followers and are a great marketer, always involved with the community AND, most importantly, want to see downtown Nampa flourish? If this sounds like you, the DNA could use your help!
Our promotions team aims to enhance the downtown by positioning the districts as the center of the community and hub of economic activity while creating a positive image that showcases the community’s unique characteristics. The job of the Promotions Committee is to PROMOTE downtown and focuses strongly on events and marketing strategies.
Organization Committee
The Organization Committee keeps our house in order! Are you good at coordinating efforts and managing small projects? We have some options for you.
Our Organization Team is tasked with creating a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for the downtown districts. The Organization Committee plays a key role in keeping the board, committees, and plan of work in good shape by attracting people and money to the organization.
